Solution – Use the Free Download Manager.

This will make sure your downloads finish properly. Many internet connections time out and although it appears the download is complete, it has been corrupted. You can find the Free Download Manager here https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

There is a version for both Windows and MacOS at the download page here:

Also for a better chance of success, only download 1 part at a time instead of all of them together.

Resuming downloads using Chrome of Firefox does not work and will end up as a corrupt download.

Installation Questions/Issues (4)

Solution – Make sure to activate your ilok licence code through the ilok licence manager and then activate it to your ilok or computer.

Solution – Yes, we support computer authorization. Only the ilok licence manager is needed. Go here to learn how to use it. https://www.ilok.com/#!resource/video

Solution – If you have any problems running this version of Accent after updating from an earlier version you should delete the Database file and restart Accent to rebuild the database.

On MacOS:

~/Library/Application Support/Platinum Samples/Accent/Databases (Delete the AccentLib.db file)

On Windows:

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Platinum Samples\Accent\Databases (Delete the AccentLib.db file)

Once Accent is restarted, you’ll be prompted to install your libraries and MIDI Grooves.

Solution – Galaxy Drums is a large download. It is split into an archive. On OSX you must use http://www.kekaosx.com to extract the downloads and on Windows you must use http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Use of any other unzipping tool is not supported and will most likely say that it can not be unzipped or that the download is corrupt.

Make sure all downloads of the Galaxy Drums content are placed into the same folder before attempting to extract/unzip, then right click on Galaxy Drums Installer 001 and choose 7zip (or Keka) and extract. This will unzip all 7 parts into a single installer folder.

Answer – Due to the digital nature of our product and copy protection scheme, we do not offer refunds. However, we will work overtime to make sure you get the most out of our products should any issue arise. We pride ourselves on customer service and customer satisfaction.

Answer – We offer a 50% discount for educational purchases. This is valid for both faculty and students. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in a recording arts program or teaching a recording arts program. We require proof that you are either a teacher or student with a registered institution.

For students, please submit 1 of the following.

a) a school i.d. card

b) a school email (if you have one)

c) a contact at the institution so we can verify your enrollment.

For teachers, please submit 1 of the following

a) a paystub (with any personal info blacked out)

b) a school email (if you have one)

c) a contact at the institution so we can verify your status.

The educational discount is given at our discretion and we may ask for more identification if we are not satisfied with the above.

Answer – Due to the size of our product downloads we do not currently offer demo products.
